Sheep Heart

A sheep heart is similar in size to a human’s. It makes a great preserved specimen for studying anatomy. Dissection allows you to see the atriums, ventricles, aorta, valves, veins, and arteries.

Preserved sheep heart dissection provides students an excellent opportunity to learn about mammalian heart anatomy. The human heart is similar in structure and function, with the most obvious difference being the sheep heart is much smaller.
