Explore “Green Energy” on a small scale! This economical solar car operates on sunlight or a rechargeable AA battery. A four-position switch allows you to choose between running the car on the solar cell or the battery, recharging the battery from the solar cell, or “off.” Two binding posts allow the voltage developed by the solar cell to be measured in all four switch positions. The solar cell can be titled to show the effect of the sun’s angle on the solar cell voltage. The car can also be operated using a strong lamp. 15 x 7 x 8cm, 160g. Includes rechargeable battery.
